15 Artists were invited to consider the out-of-bounds area of the gallery as an alternative to the passive attention associated with its walls. In effect the default social space at the Soap Factory was switched from the front terrace and building's exterior, to the inside of the gallery - where a comfortable environment was provided for visitors, furnished with couches and low-lighting. The front garden, the loading dock and the building's facade were then redefined as a playing field for parasitic, mobile or participant oriented projects.
